In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1, Nike has partnered with the Korean shop Kasina, which is also commemorating its 25th anniversary.

The Nike Air Max 1 Kasina Won-Ang Grey draws inspiration from the won-ang female, a type of Mandarin duck, in contrast to the typical orange color associated with the species. The won-ang is a symbol of unity and love, and it is prominently featured on the heel of both shoes. This iteration of the Air Max 1 not only plays with colors but also incorporates a variety of materials. Shades of grey and blue are utilized through a combination of leather, suede, and pony hair. Additionally, a mini Swoosh with a floral design is placed on the mudguard.

Following their initial collaboration two years prior, Nike and Kasina have once again joined forces to create a new iteration of the Air Max 1. This collaboration signifies a continuation of their partnership and showcases a fresh interpretation of the iconic sneaker.
