To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1, Nike has collaborated with the Korean shop Kasina, which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The Nike Air Max 1 Kasina Won-Ang Orange takes inspiration from the won-ang male, also known as the Mandarin duck. As a symbol of unity and love, this won-ang motif is prominently featured on the heel of both shoes. In addition to an interplay of vibrant colors, this iteration of the Air Max 1 showcases a diverse range of materials. The base is crafted from brown leather, accompanied by orange suede inserts and blue pony hair resembling the colors of the Mandarin duck. A mini floral Swoosh detail is also found on the mudguard.

Building upon their initial collaboration two years prior, Nike and Kasina have once again come together to present a fresh rendition of the Air Max 1. This partnership signifies a continuation of their creative collaboration and introduces a unique interpretation of this iconic sneaker.
