The Nike Air Max 1 Concepts Mellow showcases a faded denim base, adorned with various prints near the heel and across the vamp. Taking cues from the military jackets worn by peace activists during festivals like Woodstock in 1969, the green mudguard adds a touch of authenticity. Burgundy accents can be found on the laces, the Swoosh featuring floral details, and the velvet tongue, providing contrasting elements. The design is completed with a cream midsole featuring a speckle pattern and a brown outsole, all envisioned by Tinker Hatfield.
